The Buffing Brush ($34; ulta.com) and Invisible Blurring Powder ($28; ulta.com) are both new to me products from Honest beauty I recently discovered. The Invisible Blurring Powder is a loose setting powder that creates a soft focus effect and sets makeup in place. It is talc-free, finely milled and the packaging is very travel friendly and convenient with great control over how much product comes out. The powder is invisible on my medium-dark skin tone and is quite a matte finish when used over Foundations, BB creams and Tinted Moisturizers. Its overall a nice powder that is good as a setting powder, but if you, like me, have dry skin, be sure to use a very floppy brush and go light handed. The Buffing Brush is a synthetic, dense buffing brush that woks with liquid foundations, cream blushes and sheer face products. The handle is made from 100% FSC Wood and the synthetic fibers are made without AZO dyes. Its a very soft, sightly dense brush that washes well and dries fairly quick. I like it with liquid foundations a lot. It does the job quickly, doesn’t feel scratchy and blends everything beautifully. It has held up pretty well even after multiple washes. If you are looking for a dense, synthetic, multitasking buffing brush, this is definitely one to look into!
