The Dual Intensity Eyeshadow in Rigel and the Velvet Eyeliners are new launches as part of NARS’ Powerfall Collection. Rigel ($29; narscosmetics.com) is a shimmery golden peach, that looks more like a shimmer wash on my lids and pairs well with just some liner and lots of mascara. The texture was great on this one - not much of a fall out, blended beautifully and is an easy color to wear if you don’t mind the shimmer. The Velvet Eyeliners ($24; narscosmetics.com) are a new launch too, that join NARS’ permanent line. They come in 9 shades and are smudgy kohls that are extremely nice and easy to work with. They don’t really set until done so with an eyeshadow, but they are super soft, smooth and don’t tug or pull. I tried two shades from the range - Black Moon, a jet black that is great for the lash and waterline and London, a matte grey, perfect for smudging along the lash lines, especially when paired with Black Moon. Overall, I think Powerfall is a lovely transitional collection and the Velvet Liners are absolutely fabulous to have if you like your eyeliner a little messy, casual and smudgy!
