I had never tried any skincare from Aromatherapy Associates, this being one of my very first trials at their rose-infused skin care range. The Renewing Rose Cleanser ($44; aromatherapyassociates.com) is a daily cream cleanser that is nice when you have little to no makeup to cleanse. I like to use it with a wash cloth. The texture is quite milky and very soothing on dry skin and the cleanser washes off easily - not much of a residue left behind, still better when used with a washcloth if you like the squeaky clean feel. I can see myself reaching out to this more in the winter when my skin feels a lot drier that it is now. Its a great calming cleanser for normal-dry skin. The Rose Radiance Skin Serum ($70; aromatherapyassociates.com) is a fantastic lightweight serum that is great under moisturizer or by itself. It leaves my skin super glowy, soft and hydrated. It is also quick absorbing and very calming just like the cleanser. Probably one of the best lightweight serums I have tried in recent times. Both the Cleanser and the Radiance Skin Serum have a soothing rose scent which I absolutely love. My favorite of the two would have to be the serum, especially amazing if you have dehydrated skin that leans sensitive.
