Sebamed Scalp Activating Shampoo ($15.49) is a paraben free, scalp activating shampoo, that is formulated with growth activating ingredients like caffeine gingko, and NHE complex in a ph balanced base. It is quite a clarifying shampoo that gets rid of gunk and takes care of scalp issues like dandruff and dryness. It is something I like to use not more than once or twice a week. Sebamed recommends using not more than a capful each time and also to massage it into the scalp to help product penetration. My hair has thinned out considerably the past few months, and I’ve been through a stage of postpartum hair loss too, so this is a nice addition to my hair care routine. It does feel gentle and keeps hair looking very healthy and cleanses thoroughly without stripping. While I cannot comment too much on the hair growth part of it, I do think its a really nice shampoo that keeps your scalp clean which in turn helps with healthy hair growth, when combined with a good diet and proper haircare. If you are looking for a gentle, clarifying, scalp balancing shampoo, this is one to absolutely look into!
