Indiscretion ($44; sephora.com) is one of four Face Illuminators that are now part of Laura Mercier’s permanent line. It is a gorgeous, cool toned, rose gold. The powders are formulated with a unique blend of cream and powder that helps the formula glide onto the skin and blend better. Indiscretion is a nice color for all medium-dark skin tones. The pigment is quite sheer, in a lovely way and very buildable. The formula is easy to blend and looks very natural when used with a floppy brush, or better yet, a fan brush. There is quite a bit of fall out which does make the compact a little messy after a few uses and the shimmer gets left behind after a good 6 hours or so, but the creamy powder is quite forgiving on large pores and dry skin. Indiscretion is one of my favorites among the four face illuminators and the color catches the light in the most nicest way, without looking overdone. Overall, definitely worth checking out if you like your highlighters to look very naturally glowy!
