Glow Subtil Silky Cream Highlighter ($30; sephora.com) is a cream to powder highlighter that Lancome just launched. Its a super silky formula that glides on effortlessly and looks very subtle and natural on the skin.
I tried three of five shades from the line - Buff Lights, a shimmery champagne, Amber Lights, a bronzy gold and Gold Lights, a pure gold with a soft sheen. I love them all when used with a floppy brush along the top of the cheekbones, the bridge of the nose and cupid's bow. I always like a light hand with my highlighters and this one is quite difficult to go overboard with. Amber Lights and Gold Lights also look good on the lids when you want a soft, shimmery sheen or just a wash of eyeshadow. Overall, these are some gorgeous highlighters that are definitely worth trying, especially if you like your highlighters to have a soft glowing sheen rather than something full on frosty or glittery.
