Issey Miyake L`Eau d`Issey Summer 2016 ($78; sephora.com) is a new fruity floral and the latest addition to the limited edition line of Issey Miyake fragrances for summer. Its a light, crisp, exotic fruity floral, with notes of Litchi, Grapefruit, Pitahaya, Guava, Passionfruit, Woody Accords and Vanilla. Its a beautiful spring/summer fragrance that maintains the notes of the original L’Eau d’Issey, with a little more of a citrusy touch, in a lighter base. The fruity notes of Guava, Passionfruit, Litchi and Grapefruit are very prominent here, while the vanilla sweetens the dry down a little more, adding a touch of creaminess. It has average longevity and is quite a youthful, feminine composition that is very fresh and perfect for the summertime. The bottle is very sleek and pretty too! If you like the original L’Eau d'Issey and want something a tad lighter and fresher, give the Summer 2016 version a try!
