Eclat de Fleurs by Lanvin ($105; shop.nordstrom.com) is a new launch, a fresh fruity floral with notes of pear, jasmine, rose, freesia,white musk and sandalwood. The packaging is gorgeous, and the fragrance is very crisp, feminine and youthful.
The opening is mostly pear, jasmine and rose. Its quite floral, not heady and very fresh. The opening is quite strong and the fragrance turns creamy as it starts to settle down, while the dry down brings out most of the musk and sandalwood. The dry down is what I love the most since the creamy musk and sandalwood mix in with the florals making it interesting. Its a nice fragrance for all seasons and the longevity is fantastic. Its a simple, feminine floral with a sweet, creamy dry down and a rather youthful scent to try this spring and summer.
