These are my current favorite face primers that I’m having on rotation at the moment and love for my dry skin!
Laura Mercier Radiance Primer ($36; sephora.com) - Its a glowy base that helps add a dewy sheen to skin. There’s extremely finely milled shimmer in a creamy base that is undetectable on the skin and adds a lovely glow that looks natural. It has a nice slip and also helps even skin tone quite a bit which I love. If you don’t have too much to cover up, this with just some powder on top would do for a quick base.
Becca Backlight Priming Filter ($38; sephora.com) is another glowy primer that I’m loving at the moment. The shimmer diffuses beautifully, translating to a beautiful radiance on the skin. It also helps blur small pores and fills in fine lines. It stretches my foundation wear probably by an hour or so extra, but I love the soft focus effect it gives even through a matte foundation or tinted moisturizer. I also like how it looks on its own, but mostly love it under sheer bases like tinted moisturizers and BB creams.
NARS Pro Prime Radiance Enhancing Light Optimizing Primer ($35; sephora.com) is the most “perfecting” of the three. It also has an SPF of 15 and is great at creating a clean canvas. It also helps extend makeup wear quite a bit. I also love the subtle glow from this one that looks just like nice skin than being shimmery or too dewy. Its a good one if you have combination to dry skin.
