Fresh Cut Split End Mender by Living Proof ($24; sephora.com) is a new addition to Living Proof’s Perfect Hair Day range. Fresh Cut is a lightweight cream that helps heal and seal split ends and also keeps hair healthy looking and soft, for that freshly cut look. Its one to start using after a haircut to maintain ends looking healthier, longer or also like a regular styling cream before/after a blowdry or while airdrying. Fresh Cut is very lightweight and can be used on damp or dry hair. I like to use it on damp hair and style as usual, or just apply a little bit to the ends. It definitely does make hair look healthier, the ends look a tad more finished and less dull. I also think Fresh Cut helps cut drying time a little and keeps hair looking bouncy and soft without weighing it down too much. Like any other styling/treatment product, a little goes a very long way. Overall, its a lovely lightweight styling cream, I did not have too many split ends to start with but I did start using it right after a trim a few weeks back and ends still look pretty neat even without the help of much styling.
