NARCISO Eau de Parfum Poudree ($96 for 1.oz; $114 for 3.0oz; Exclusively At Bloomingdales) is Narciso Rodriguez' newest spring launch , a soft floral blend of white Jasmine, Bulgarian Rose, Vetiver, Black & White Cedar and Powdery Musc. The bottle is blush colored, very similar to and minimalistic, just like the other NARCISO bottles.
The opening of Narciso Poudree feels clean, sophisticated and very floral. I can definitely get whiffs of the Jasmine, Rose and Musk, while the dry down brings out most of the powderiness from the musk, keeping it soft and feminine. The blush colored bottle is perfectly suited to the fragrance and the longevity is fantastic, stretching a whole day on me. I’ve tried many of Narciso Rodriguez' fragrances and I’d have to say that Poudree is one of my absolute favorites. Its one I’d wear all through the year - its not too intense, yet strong enough for a floral. The musk is very well done in this one and isn’t all overwhelming. Its definitely a grown up scent without leaning too sweet. Overall, a must try fragrance this Spring, (especially if you like NR’s scents) that is quickly becoming my most worn this season!
