I shopped my stash and picked out a few lipsticks that I had not worn in a while, mostly pinks, all from the similar color spectrum, but look quite different when on the lips. A quick roundup of a few of my current favorite pinks that are perfect for spring.
YSL Rouge Volupte Sheer Candy Glossy Balm Crystal Color in Rose Candy ($37; sephora, com) is a sheer, glossy pink, leaning towards the cooler end of the spectrum. The color is gorgeous and perfect if you want only a glossy tint of pink.
Dolce & Gabbana Passion Duo Gloss Fusion Lipstick in Iridescent ($37; sephora, com) is a mid tone rosy pink. Its quite a pigmented lipstick and has a soft sheen. Good color for pigmented lips that actually looks pretty much like how it does in the tube.
Laura Mercier Lip Parfait Creamy Colorbalm in Raspberry Ripple ($25; sephora.com) is a mid tone pink with a super creamy, balmy feel. Its a beautiful formula and an everyday pink you just can’t go wrong with.
Dior Addict Lipstick in Bold ($35; sephora.com) is a sheer pink with a hint of lilac that has a super lightweight texture and consistency. Its very moisturizing and quite glossy, while the color is a pink that would flatter a variety of skin tones.
Guerlain KissKiss Creamy Satin Finish Lipstick in Beige Booster ($37; sephora.com) is one of my all time, absolute favorite pinks. Beige Booster is a pink beige in the tube that turns into a lovely rosy pink on my lips. The formula is moisturizing and the packaging is fabulous.
