Three products, a couple new and an old favorite that I’ve added to my skincare routine and absolutely have been loving at the moment!
L’Occitane’s Shea Face Comforting Oil ($42; usa.loccitane.com) is new and perfect for dry/sensitive skin. Its a silky, lightweight oil that sinks into skin effortlessly. There’s a very light scent that dissipates quite soon and the pretty glass packaging with a pump keeps the product hygienic and easy to use. I like to use it on days I don’t use a serum or by mixing in with regular moisturizer. There's no greasy film and my skin feels super smooth the next morning. It takes care of dryness pretty quickly and locks in moisture really well.
Mad Hippie Exfoliating Serum ($34.99; madhippie.com) is an exfoliating serum that I like to use about 2-3 times a week. It feels very similar to the Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair and leaves my complexion glowing. It is AHA based and can leave skin a tad sensitive, so a good sunscreen the next day is recommended. The hyaluronic acid helps plump skin up a bit too. My skin leans towards the sensitive side and this one definitely has been quite gentle too! Definitely one to try out from Mad Hippie!
Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair Synchronized Recovery Complex II ($62; sephora.com) is an old favorite that I had stopped using halfway through my pregnancy and have now added back. Its one must have serum that fetches instant results and I can see my skin looking quite dull on days I don’t. I do think it can be a tad drying on its own especially in the winter, but that apart it is definitely one of my favorites.
