Josie Maran Whimsical Wonder Argan Oil Color Essentials

Josie Maran’s new Whimsical Wonder Argan Oil Color Essentials ($34; sephora.com) is a new holiday launch and a value set featuring a few of Josie Maran’s best sellers in deluxe sizes. The Kit includes a mix of skincare and makeup and comes packaged in a pop up style gift box.

I think the kit is a great value. The Coconut Watercolor Eye Shadow in Beach Sand is a slightly darker brown, the consistency was on the thinner side, but the color is gorgeous. The Coconut Watercolor Cheek Gelée  in Pink Escape is a coral pink stain that is long wearing and in a very unique formula. The Argan Enlightenment Illuminizer can be mixed with foundation or used alone. Its a sheer highlighter that adds a natural looking radiance to skin. It looks great on all skin tones and adds a golden radiance. The Argan Black Oil Mascara  is more of a lengthening mascara for me and the pigment is very rich and dark. It doesn’t flake too much, but can get a tad clumpy and over deposited on the brush. Lastly, there’s also a mini size of the 100% Argan Oil Light, a lighter version of Josie’s cult favorite Argan Oil. Its good to mix in with moisturizer and comes in a travel friendly size. Overall, if you are looking to try a few products across the Josie Maran skin and makeup range, the Whimsical Wonder Argan Oil Color Essentials is a great kit to try!
