Sally Hansen’s Miracle Gel Top Coat ($9.99; target.com) has gotten a re-formulation for fall, along with a few new shade additions to the Miracle Gel Nail Polish Line ($9.99; target.com). *Press Samples
I tired three polishes from the line, tested them all with the re-formulated Miracle Gel Top Coat. The polishes were all quite opaque, very smooth to apply and shiny even without the topcoat on. I found the formula uniform on all three of them. The Miracle Gel Topcoat, however is fabulous! It adds a gorgeous glossy finish and my polish did not chip for a good 4-5 days, which is fantastic since most chip on the second day for me. I did find the brush a little too wide for my smaller nail beds, but the formula more than makes up for it. I’ve used it a few times now and the formula hasn’t thickened up yet. I do wish the bottle was transparent though, so as to know how much product is left. That apart, it really is amazing for the price and one of the best gel-like top coats I’ve tried in recent times.
