Makeup, Beauty and More: Laura Geller Luscious Lips Liquid Lipsticks

Laura Geller Luscious Lips Liquid Lipsticks ($21; ulta.com) are pigmented liquid lipsticks with a satin-matte finish. They are very opaque and the color is very saturated without too much shine.

The texture and formula reminds me of the Laura Mercier Paint Wash Lip Colors, same light weight feel, smooth consistency and kind of a whipped texture. I would say Laura Geller’s is a little more closer to a liquid lipstick consistency while Laura Mercier’s is more cream. The colors are gorgeous and end up looking similar to how they look in the tube, in just one swipe. The silky formula does tend to move around a little, and the darker and brighter colors especially are very staining. Overall, if you like opaque, pigmented lip colors that wear more than your average cream lipstick or gloss, these are worth looking into. I do wish they had a little less of a plasticky scent though. That apart, they are really nice!
