Charlotte Tilbury’s Eyes To Mesmerise Long Lasting Cream Eyeshadows ($32; shop.nordstrom.com) are a new launch that come in the most beautiful six colors. I picked up Bette, a shimmery golden bronze. The formula is super creamy, easy to work with and the finish is gorgeous.
Bette is a nice neutral if you like most colors in the bronzy gold category and the formula is very buildable. It can be worn as a sheer wash, which is how I prefer it. The shimmer gets toned down a bit and it gives off an almost wet look without looking very OTT. I like to use a Hakuhodo J242H Flat Shader brush or any flat shader brush, like the MAC 242, to pat the color on and blend it with a fluffy brush. A little more heavier application gives off a foiled look that can look slightly too shimmery. I found the formula to be pretty long wearing, not too dense & crease-proof even without a primer. It is quite forgiving too since it takes a bit of time to set. The packaging is really nice and the range of colors are really pretty and wearable if you don’t mind the shimmer. I'll definitely be checking out more colors soon!
Bette looks gorgeous on you! I think it might be too warm for me, but I've got my eye on Marie Antoinette!

Thank You! Marie Antoinette is beautiful! I've been wanting Veruschka as well!!
DeleteThis looks beautiful! And your review is so positive, I heard complaints about creasing in the others. I love what you're wearing on the upper lash lines? Is it a grey liner?
ReplyDeleteI've had little to no creasing, but then I also prefer it sheer, probably why :) I'm wearing Urban Decay's 24/7 glide on pencil in Uzi on my lashline. Its sort of a blackened shimmery grey!
DeleteThanks Appu, will have a look at the pencil the next time I'm in a Sephora :)
DeleteI hope you like it! :)
