YSL’s new Summer 2015 Collection, Terre Saharienne , features two gorgeous nail polishes in bright summery colors - Brun Henne, a brunt orange cream and Jaune Babouche, a bright yellow.
I found Brun Henne No.61($27; shop.nordstrom.com) to be quite an interesting color, not too similar to any of the variations of reds and oranges I have in my collection. Its an opaque, creamy, muted orange with a fabulous formula. I’ve tried a couple of YSL polishes before and have loved the formula and brush, which is quite similar to Dior’s reformulated gel line. Brun Henne is completely opaque in two coats and dries pretty fast. The application was smooth, bubble free and quite glossy even without a top coat. I can see myself wearing a color like this all through the year, particularly in the summer and fall. Both nail polishes in this collection are limited edition and not extremely similar to anything else YSL currently has. Brun Henne especially is definitely worth picking up!
