Like every year, this year too, L’Occitane has launched a charitable product for International Women’s Day - 100% of the profits from the sale of this product helps finance NGO’s to promote women’s entrepreneurship in Burkina Faso, Africa with the support of the L'Occitane Foundation. This year, its the limited edition Ultra Soft Balm ($6; usa.loccitane.com) with Shea Butter, Vitamin E, Sunflower Oil and Beeswax that comes with a light fruity apricot scent. Its a light textured balm that can be used on the lips, body, cuticles and hair.
I’ve so far tried it for my lips and cuticles and love it. It takes a while to absorb, but once it does it retains moisture and keeps skin soft and protected. The scent is lovely, doesn’t linger around too much and the cute little tin is so easy to toss into the smallest of bags. The fund raising Ultra Soft Balm is now available in stores and online at usa.loccitane.com. I’l be picking up a couple more of these before they sell out, which I’m sure they will quickly!
