MAC Capricious Lustre Lipstick (
$16; maccosmetics.com) is one of my recent favorites that I’ve been wearing a lot lately. Capricious is a lustre finish and has a nice see through quality to it without being too sheer.
The color is best described as a glossy plum rose with a creme finish. Lustre finishes by MAC aren't the most moisturizing, but I like how easy to wear the texture is. Capricious is a great color for all skin tones and particularly flattering on medium/dark skin tones. I have pretty pigmented lips and the color turns up looking pretty close to how it does in the tube. While not the most long wearing, it really is a beautiful color absolutely worth checking out!
