Eau de Lacoste Sensuelle ($82 for 90ml) is a new fragrance addition and a richer, deeper version of the spring/summer release of the Original Eau de Lacoste. Sensuelle comes housed in a gorgeous deep blue bottle and the notes include Pink Pepper, Black Currant, Turkish Rose, Nougat, Amber and Sweet Pea.
Sensuelle is a beautiful scent for the fall and winter season. The opening is sweet, sparkling and sultry with the prominent notes being Pink Pepper and Blackcurrant. I absolutely love the opening. The Rose, Nougat and Amber kick in soon after and stay through the dry down making it much more creamy, sweet and perfect to be worn on cooler evenings. Eau de Lacoste Sensuelle is not as heavy as I’d expected it to be for an EDP, yet manages to fade minimally through the day. The scent is cozy and comforting, sweet in the right way without cloying and borders on being a gourmand. The dry down reminds me of a much lighter, Narciso by Narciso Rodriguez, a tad more sweet and juicy.
