BUXOM always has some very gorgeous pieces as part of their Holiday Collection and the Lip Gloss Roulette is star of this year’s launch from the brand. Lip Gloss Roulette ($59; sephora.com) features 15 deluxe size Full-on Lip Creams and Lip Shines from BUXOM that range from sheer nudes to shimmery plums and berries with a good amount of cool and warm pinks and peaches thrown in.
The Lip Creams are free of any shimmer or glitter, while the Lip Polishes are shimmery, with a high shine finish. The formula is great - a tad sticky, but not overly so, which makes them slightly long wearing. They are very moisturizing too and have a minty scent and a bit of tingle, nothing uncomfortable. I’m not a big fan of plumping glosses, but these don’t have the sting that many plumpers have and don’t leave lips feeling numb - just a subtle amount fullness and shine from the shimmer. If you haven’t tried any of these lip glosses yet, the Lip Gloss Roulette is a great way to try the formula out, which is one of my favorites. They have the right amount of color and shine and the shades in here are fabulous!
