Afternoon Delights and I Heart The Nightlife ($29 each; beauty.com) are two new, limited edition Lasting Line Eyeliner sets from bareMinerals for the holidays. Each set comes with five twist up eyeliners and a sharpener attached. Afternoon Delights is a mix of shimmery browns, a plum and a slightly dark green, while I heart The Nightlife is a mix of two iridescent colors, a shimmery copper, matte black and a metallic grey.
I won’t go too much into details of the formula, as I’ve reviewed them here. I think these liners could have been a tad more smoother and a bit more pigmented. The metallic, more shimmery shades had very less color payoff and were a bit flaky. The most pigmented ones were Absolute Black, Steadfast Slate, Eternal Bronze and Constant Copper. The others were a tad difficult to work with and faded pretty quickly too. The color is definitely buildable though, but some colors required 2-3 swipes to build up to the desired intensity. On the plus side, the formula of Absolute Black din’t sting my waterline like many other waterproof liners do. I’ve tried a couple of other formulas from bareMinerals, their Round The Clock Eyeliners and Hold The Line Waterproof Eyeliner from BUXOM, both of which I preferred over this formula. Overall, the colors are good, and the sets are priced well, but the formula needs a bit more tweaking.

I haven't tried these before but I absolutely love the colour selection! I'm all about the impact that different liners can have, especially at this time of year xx

The colors are great, but I wish they had more payoff. The black is a good soft black!
