Tom Ford Viper ($32; shop.nordstrom.com), a blackened purple-plum is one beautiful creme nail polish for fall that I've been absolutely loving lately. The color does turn up looking a lot less dark on the nails than it does in the bottle.
I found the formula to be quite nice and easy to work with. The consistency was a bit on the thinner side, but fast drying. I prefer two coats, but three thin coats would make the color look a bit more richer and completely opaque. The packaging is just lovely and the thin brush helps with neat application on my small-ish nails. I would have liked the brush to be a little shorter in length though, since I don't have a very steady hand when it comes to cream polishes that aren't too opaque and can highlight every little flaw. Viper has no shimmer or glitter, its a pure creme finish that looks super glossy with a top coat on and pretty nice by itself. If you are looking for something rich and dark, but not quite close to black, be sure to check Viper out. Its a fabulous color!
