Flash Rinse Facial comes in a practical squeeze tube and is to be used after removing makeup or instead of a face wash, on almost-clean skin. The texture is quite thick and the light blue/green gel also has teeny tiny scrubby bits that I could only feel on dry skin. Everything dissolves and turns into a clear gel when it comes into contact with water and the product itself doesn't foam up much at all. There's a slightly strong, citrusy scent which dissipates once washed off. My skin is a bit on the sensitive side, but I din't find this to be irritating or too strong. To use, I just take a tiny amount, massage all over my face, leave it on for a minute or lesser and wash off. There's quite a bit of a visible difference in what the Flash Rinse does - it leaves me instantly glowy and refines skin texture a bit, leaving it very smooth to the touch. I haven't seen much of a difference with a reduction in blackheads, but to be fair, the product doesn't claim to do so. If left over for exactly a minute or lesser, it isn't drying. It can, however be a bit drying if left on for longer.
I would recommend following up with a good moisturizer, no matter what your skin type is. REN recommends using it once in three days or so and I'd have to agree. The formula can be a little strong if used more than that. The product also tends to settle, so be sure to shake the tube well before use. Overall, its a fantastic alternative to abrasive scrubs or exfoliators and definitely worth checking out if you are looking for something that instantly brightens and leaves skin looking visibly fresh.
