"Jane Cosmetics' beautiful multi-colored correcting powder, that blends together to minimize redness, correct skin imperfections and even skin tone. Easy to apply, it's the first step to a flawless face." *Press Sample
Jane Cosmetics Multi-Colored Color Correcting Powder ($12; ulta.com) is a sheer, color correcting pressed powder that helps even skintone and set makeup. Its quite a finely milled texture with hardly any coverage that goes on translucent. If you have a few discolorations or unevenness, this won't by itself take care. I like to use a fluffy, preferably less dense, powder brush, swirl it around the powder and dust it all over the face as the final step of makeup. It doesn't feel heavy or cakey, but if not used sparingly can look a bit powdery and flat matte. I'm not too sure about the color correcting aspect, but it is a good setting powder that would work better on oilier skin types than it does on my dry skin. I have a few setting powders on rotation at the moment and this one is something I would much prefer in the summer and over a tinted moisturizer or a light BB cream, with a fair amount of concealing done. Its a good wallet friendly, setting powder to try for sheer coverage!
