ZOYA's Spring Collection, Awaken, features some gorgeous pastels and shimmery metallics. Here are some quick thoughts and swatches of these six shades. *Press Sample
Cole - Originally created for fashion designer Peter Som’s SS14 collection, Cole is a full coverage peach cream. The formula was just a tad thick and tricky to work with, on my small-ish nails. The color is beautiful, soft and perfect for spring.
Brooklyn - Described as a White Gold Metallic Shimmer, Brooklyn was perfect, formula and consistency wise. Its a color that would look amazing on fingers and toes and would flatter quite a lot of skin tones.
Dillon - Metallic Mint Green Shimmer, Dillon is probably my least favorite from this collection. The color is beautiful, but something about this green/blue mix doesn't work very well with my skintone. The forumla was very easy to work with though.
Hudson - Purple Orchid Shimmer and yes, one of my favorites from the collection. It would make for a gorgeous pedicure shade. Great formula and super smooth consistency.
Rebel - Sky Blue Metallic with lots of gold shimmer. Its a beautiful, medium-toned blue that would flatter any complexion.
Dot - Soft Pink Creme with a smooth formula. Opaque in two coats and is glossy even without a top coat on. Also one of my favorites from this collection.
Overall, ZOYA's Awaken is one pretty collection for sping and fantastic if you like soft pastels and shimmery metallics. My favorites are Brooklyn, Hudson and Dot!
