Gel Lip Color in Heartbreaker ($23; lauramercier.com) - Hearbreaker, is one of four new gel-lip colors featured as part of the collection. Hearbreaker is a bright, juicy pink in the tube, that goes on sheer, wears super comfortably and is very moisturizing & lightweight. The formula is perfect if sheer colors are your thing. Although a tad on the sheer side from the very first swipe, Heartbreaker can still be built up to a nice, wearable intensity without going too neon, like how it looks in the tube. Its a beautiful wash of fresh pink on my pigmented lips and leaves a light stain after about 2-3 hours. There's a slightly sweet scent and taste, not too overpowering. I absolutely love the formula, texture and everything there is about this lip color and wish to see more of these, in the permanent line!
Baked Eye Colour Quad in Rendezvous in Monte Carlo ($44; lauramercier.com), is one of two baked eye quads as part of the Summer collection. This quad features a pale pastel pink, an icy lilac and two very gorgeous colors - deep, shimmery bronzy brown and a taupy grey. I absolutely love the colors here - the darker colors are right up my alley and the lighter colors, while not the most flattering on my skintone, definitely work well as a light wash. Its a quad that can be used wet or dry and the pigmentation is great both ways. The textures are super easy to blend (there's just a tad bit of fallout, nothing crazy though), the colors work well alone or when paired together and the quality of these shadows are great!
