Dior's new Trianon Collection for Spring 2014 features some fabulous nail polishes and Blossom #132 ($24; shop.nordstrom.com) is a limited-edition sheer, peachy pink with gold shimmer. Its a soft pastel that would work with quite a few skin tones and a fabulous color for Spring/Summer.
Blossom is a rather sheer color that needs a good three coats to look like it does in the bottle. Even after three thin coats, I could still see a visible nail line. The shimmer is very eye catching and adds a beautiful dimension and finish to the color. Blossom is quite glossy on its own, but I did add Dior's Gel Top Coat as the final step. Although sheer, the formula was quite easy to work with - the polish levels itself very well and dries quite fast too. It also looks amazing layered over other peaches, corals and pinks. I've had it for about 3 days now and haven't seen any major chips, except for a little bit of tip wear. Overall, I won't say its a must-have color, but definitely nice to have if you don't mind the sheerness of it. The formula is easy to work with and the subtle shimmer is beautiful!
