L'Occitane's Aromachologie line features a fabulous Repairing Hair Mask ($32; usa.loccitane.com) with 5 essential oils - Angelica, Lavender, Geranium, Ylang-ylang and Patchouli that help deeply nourish and restore chemically-treated and dry/damaged hair. I've tried quite a few products from L'Occitane's Aromachologie line and have absolutely loved whatever I've tried so far! *Press Sample
This mask is a thick, concentrated mask that is to be used post shampoo, just like you would with a deep conditioner. I just apply a generous amount to my hair, mid section to the ends, leave on for a few minutes and wash off. Its quite easy to rinse off, doesn't have too much of a slip, so doesn't de-tangle a whole lot, but definitely makes hair feel soft and very shiny. My ends are quite fine, I have oily roots, so I keep this away from the scalp, but if you do have a problem with deep conditioners weighing hair down, be sure to have a clarifying shampoo in hand for once a week use. I love the scent of this mask - all Aromachologie repairing products have a similar, slightly strong, but relaxing scent, that doesn't linger for a long time. As for this mask, I would definitely recommend it if you have dry hair, or use quite a bit of heat styling or would simply like a moisturizing treat for you hair once or twice a week!
