Ouidads's new Sea Spray & Texture Taffy, part of the Wave Create line features products to achieve gorgeous , tousled waves. The Sea Spray contains natural seawater and mineral rich sea salts help with creating texture without the crunchy feel. The Texture Taffy is a nourishing cream that helps style unkempt waves with a matte finish. **Press Samples
The Sea Spray ($23) is very light and easy to spray onto to damp hair. I just spritz a generous amount and let my waves air dry. It doesn't make my hair crunchy and creates easy to manage, big waves. I have hair that gets frizzy easily, but this doesn't make it any frizzier than how it usually is - it doesn't control frizz either. If you have very thick or very straight hair though, the Texture Taffy ($23) might be a better product. Its a little more of a strong hold, but makes my hair just a little crunchy - it does deliver that matte texture and sheen though. The Taffy also feels a tad sticky, but it spreads well (with a little bit of patience) and doesn't weigh hair down too much. I prefer the Sea Spray over the Taffy just because its a little easier to work with and creates more natural looking waves on my (medium-ish) fine hair. Overall, these are both great products that help achieve beachy waves on just about any hair type without drying hair out or making it look lifeless and dull. I din't have too much product build up with either - I'm fine as long as I use a clarifying shampoo once a week.
