Becca's Ultimate Colour Gloss in Palm Breeze ($24) is a muted mauve rose with a luxurious creme finish. Palm Breeze is a sort of pink that works on most skin tones and looks fabulous for when you want a glossy wash of not so bright, pink color.
Texture and pigmentation wise, this is an excellent gloss. It goes on smooth, feels slick and is quite pigmented for a gloss. It does have a little slip to the texture and the overall finish is very glossy and shiny sans any chunky shimmer/glitter. The applicator is a regular sponge tip, but it works great with the texture of this gloss. Palm Breeze is a pink that is pigmented enough to show up on my lips and something I can wear just about anywhere - its a very sophisticated pink, not too bright or OTT, definitely not the candy pink variety. I also think the Ultimate Colour Gloss formula is very moisturizing and since it is quite creamy, it goes on super smooth even on dry lips, without emphasizing dryness any further. There's also a super sweet scent and flavor to the gloss. I am quite sensitive to scented lip products and this one din't bother me at all - in fact, I quite like it! Too bad it dissipates after a couple of minutes. Like most glosses I get about 2-3 hours of wear after which most the color is gone. Overall, Palm Breeze is a fantastic gloss! It has the right amount of pigmentation, a great finish and is comfortable to wear without any stickiness for a lip gloss.
