St.Ives Revitalizing Pear & Soy Body Wash ($3.99, Press Sample), a fairly new addition to the St.Ives Body Wash lineup is a creamy body wash that moisturizes while cleansing. With extracts of pear and soy milk, this nourishing body wash claims to leave skin feeling soft and fresh.
I haven't tried very many St.Ives Body washes, but the couple I've tried so far, I've been quite satisfied with. The Pear & Soy Body wash is free of parabens and is formulated with natural, skin loving moisturizers. It lathers up pretty well and smells very refreshing, quite fruity and just a tad soapy. I don' have a problem with the scent - it is a little strong, but as it washes off, there's no lingering fragrance left behind. Th Body wash also does a good job of cleansing without stripping skin too much. My only gripe though is the moisture film it leaves behind. I din't feel like it left skin feeling squeaky clean, but again, it is a moisturizing body wash so the moisture film is probably what helps with softening skin and adding a little hydration back.
Overall, I think its a better pick for the winter than in the summer. The moisture film can feel a tad greasy in the summer when I look for more zesty, citrusy washes that leave me super clean. The scent is nice though - very refreshing and the product itself is an excellent budget buy!
