BITE Beauty's Lush Fruit Lip Gloss($22, Press Sample) is an antioxidant rich, coconut, mango and strawberry infused, moisturizing lip gloss that comes in an array of 12 shades. BITE calls this "superfruit smoothie for your lips"!
I've had good luck with BITE's lip products in the past, especially their lipsticks and matte lip pencils. The Lush Fruit Lip Gloss is a slightly thick, moderately pigmented lipgloss with a creamy texture. As for the colors, Rambutan, a peachy nude and Strawberry, a mid tone pink, are both lovely, everyday neutrals for me. They are easy to swipe and go. However, these glosses do feel a tad sticky and emphasize lip dryness quite a bit, so be sure to prep well before applying them. They are moisturizing, but the thicker texture works better on well prepped, smooth lips. Also since they are a tad sticky, they wear quite well - about 4 hours on me, quite comfortably with no dryness afterwards. I quite like the wand too - its great for thicker glosses like these and deposits color really well. There's not much of a scent that I can detect, just a little fruity scent initially that dissipates pretty fast.
Overall, if you don't mind the slight stickiness, these are pretty nice to have. The glossiness disappears quite a bit after a couple of hours, but on the plus side, it doesn't feel dry or uncomfortable. They are also priced quite well for a natural lip gloss and are formulated without parabens, sulfates and pthalates, just like everything else is from BITE!
Available at select sephora stores and online at sephora.com.
