L'Occitane puts out a limited-edition floral collection for Spring every year and this time around its Spring Cherry! The Spring Cherry EDT ($42, Press Sample) ,is a fruity floral with notes of Mandarin, Blackcurrent, Cherry Blossoms & Magnolia mixed in with a touch of Musk! The EDT also contains cherry extract from the Luberon region of Provence.
I love the beautiful, light pink bottle of Spring Cherry - it is rather simple, but gorgeous. Spring Cherry is a great everyday perfume for Spring and Summer. I loved it from the very first spritz - it is a rather strong floral and the dry woody notes take the sweetness down a notch. I do think it is more of a grown up scent though. It isn't anything like the regular Cherry Blossom scents and I absolutely love this version of it. L'occitane recommends layering it over the moisturizing body gel, but I feel it is quite long lasting by itself for an EDT, and fades through the day leaving behind a delicate floral scent. If you like L'Occitane's original Cherry Blossom, which by the way is ah-mazing, you'll be surprised at the very different take on this one. Overall, Spring Cherry is a nice Spring/Summer scent to have that I've been wearing quite a bit as an everyday scent, this time of the year. If you like crisp florals with subtle woody notes, you'll love this one.
