Lancome's Spring'13 collection features two shades of Blush In Love Powder Blushes ($49 each) - 20 Pommettes D’Amour (A mix of bright pink and warm coral) and 10 Pêche Joue-Joue (Light natural peachy pink). The blushes come with a gorgeous design embossed with subtle shimmer detailing and beautiful cardboard design packaging.
The shimmer is an overspray that fades with a few uses, but the blush itself has a lovely sheen to it. Pommettes D’Amour, the brighter of the two blushes is a great way to brighten up a dull face and the color turns up like a soft pink on my skintone. Pêche Joue-Joue is the more natural looking of the two and is perfect to add a subtle glow. Both blushes are super finely milled and have very little fallout. They blend extremely well too and don't enhance pores or look patchy. I was quite surprised at how well these lasted on me - I got about 6-7 hours after which there was slight fading. The mirror that comes along can be pulled out of the blush case and the design feels super light-weight and easy to tote around.
I'm wearing Pommettes D’Amour swirled together in the pic, which I think is a fantastic choice for most medium/dark skin tones Pêche Joue-Joue is more natural looking, but still a great blush to add a little warmth to your face. I have no complaints with the product as such, but I do wish these were just a tad cheaper though. Overall, well made, great quality and perfect blushes for spring, all through summer!

How pretty! Lancome has such beautiful products but price-wise, they're a little out of my student budget.
ReplyDeleteTheir seasonal blushes especially come with a higher price tag! But yeah, they have some amazing products!
