Korres has a couple of new variants of their Lip Butter Glazes ($14) added to the permanent line. Crocus - A Sheer Pinky Lavender and Laurel - Creamy Peachy Nude. The Lip Butter Glazes are formulated with Organic Beeswax, Canesugar and Pomegranate Fruit Sterols that claim to smooth, moisturize and provide antioxidant protection to dry lips.
These lip butter glazes have the most comfortable, ultra smooth texture that just glides even on the driest of lips. They smell amazing and extremely sweet, something that makes me reach out to these very often. The sqeeze tube applicator controls the amount of product so there's no product wastage too. As for the color, both glazes have a sheer, my lips but better shine that adds a beautiful glossy sheen to my pigmented lips. The colors straight out of the tube look very pigmented but, sheer out once on the lips. As someone with extremely dry lips, I love how moisturizing these feel on my lips. They last about 3-4 hours and don't dry out my lips even the slightest bit after fading.
L-R : Crocus, Laurel |
If you don't like the heavy feel of glosses and lip cremes, give these Korres Lip Butter Glazes a try. The excellent, light-weight formulation is perfect for use any time of the year. Crocus and Laurel are extremely natural looking shades. They also have some darker plums and sheer berries if you want to add some more color. The Korres Lip Butter Glazes are also free of Parabens, Sulfates, Synthetic Fragrances, Petrochemicals and Phthalates. A great way to moisturize and add a subtle tint sans the nasties.
Available now at Sephora stores and online at sephora.com

I was sort of hoping Crocus was an Illamasqua Kontrol dupe. :)
ReplyDeleteIts a much, much wearable, extremely sheer version :D Although I wouldn't step out of the house wearing Kontrol :P
DeleteI totally would! I am starting to really love true purple lip colors, and I'm bold when it comes to makeup. But then again, I am in NYC, where people wear blue hair dye and leather pants to the store. LOL.
DeleteLOL yeah. Its better off to wear purple lipstick when there's company :P :P
