L'Oreal Sublime Sun Advanced Sunscreen Liquid Silk Sunshield

The Advanced Sunscreen Liquid Silk Sunshield with SPF50+ ($10.99) is a new launch from L'Oreal's Sublime Sun range that I've been testing out. The product is a light-weight lotion that goes on sheer and absorbs instantly unlike so many sunscreens I've tried. The Josie Maran argan daily moisturizer with SPF 40 comes close and has a more natural ingredients list. But, this drugstore version is something I've been loving recently.

The texture is quite runny but, I absolutely love the way it feels on my skin. It is extremely easy to spread and does not leave a greasy film or a whitish cast. Since the tube is pretty small, I use it only for my face and neck. I've had no problems with breakouts and the silky texture feels like there's nothing at all. The higher SPF is great if you tend to stay out a lot . L'Oreal also claims it is ultra-water resistant and it sure is.

Overall, a fantastic product that is now a staple for me. The packaging travels really well too. My only gripe is the strong sunscreen smell that it has. But since it doesn't have that heavy feel, I can put up with that.

Have you tried the L'Oreal Sublime Sun Range?

    1. Yeah, I was gonna tell you to check that. Do that with any sunscreen/sunblock.

  3. I just picked this up at Target. I don't like my face to get burned and I have to use a high SPF on my face, so I can't wait to try this one! I will L'Oreal would extend their sun protection line.
