Clark's Botanicals Ultra Rich Lip Tint in Alexandra Rose($19) is a bright rosy, glossy lip tint made from natural moisturizers and ultra nourishing oils like coconut and almond. While it looks bright in the tube, it goes on much sheerer on my lips than it looks.
The texture of this lip tint is very slick and smooth. A quick swipe leaves a glossy sheen and a slight hint of color that doesn't show up so well on my pigmented lips. It is quite moisturizing & works well layered over matte lipsticks and lip stains. The glossy texture makes it a great tint to be layered over nude lipsticks too. Sadly, since it is not very sticky, it fades off very fast after which my dry lips need more moisture.There's also a slight fragrance that takes a while to fade.
Overall, the Clark's Botanicals Ultra Rich Lip Tints maybe moisturizing but they are quite overpriced for what they do. There's a lot of natural ingredients in there and the weightless feel is good for summer too but, be prepared to reapply after a couple of hours. Since the packaging is rather hygienic and travels really well, it is great to keep around in your purse for when your regular gloss wears off.
