Two Cozy Vanilla Fragrances To Try This Fall!

Two new vanilla fragrances I’m currently loving that would be perfect for fall. Both these are clean fragrances formulated without nasties. Lavanila’s The Healthy Fragrance Pure Vanilla ($48; lavanilla.com) is a classic vanilla scent that is creamy, a tad smokey and soft. The main note is Pure Madagascar Vanilla blended with essential oils for a clean base. The opening is very soft and clean, not overpowering. The Vanilla is rather sweet without being too cloying and settles down to a cozy fragrance that is perfect for the fall and winter. The longevity is average and fades after a good 6-7 hours. The Rosy & Earnest Vanilla Rum Royal ($125; rosyandearnest.com) is another gorgeous vanilla that I have been wearing a lot lately. I absolutely love the fragrance right from the first spritz to dry down. The notes include rum, vanilla, pink berries, bergamot, white wine lees, oak and musk. The opening is quite sweet, more of the vanilla with just a hint of the rum. The bergamot is faint and keeps the vanilla from getting too sweet. The dry down brings out the musk and makes the fragrance very creamy and cozy. It's such an interesting vanilla as I have nothing similar to this in my collection. The longevity is great as well and since vanilla is one of my favorite notes, I’d wear this all through fall, winter and spring.
