Alien Goddess Intense Eau de Parfum ($123; sephora.com) is Mugler’s newest launch that launched earlier this year. It's a perfect transition scent from summer to fall/winter with notes of Bergamot, Coconut, Jasmine, Jasmine Tea, Vanilla, Benzoin and Cashmere Wood. It is a woody floral that is heavy on the amber, coconut and vanilla. The opening is floral and fresh, not too heady, slightly sweet with the Jasmine, Bergamot and Coconut being dominant. The coconut cream accord lingers through the dry down and keeps the fragrance cozy and creamy along with the bourbon vanilla. I love fragrances like these all through the year and while this one isn’t too strong, it lingers throughout the day without overpowering, leaving a trail of the woody-vanilla-coconut goodness behind. The packaging like everything else from Mugler is beautiful and makes for a fabulous holiday gift for any fragrance lover.
