The Priming Serum ($46; lancome-usa.com) is a new launch form Lancome, a solid pressed face primer that helps blur and smoothen skin texture creating the perfect canvas for makeup. It also helps minimize pores and mattify skin, leaving a satin finish. It's a lightweight texture and helps my foundation go on smooth without clinging onto dry spots. The packaging is beautiful and the compact is refillable. The product also comes with a spatula and a mirror attached. It's a great priming serum with skincare benefits that I mostly use as a primer and love it. I can see it working for all skin types including sensitive and oily while helping boost the longevity of makeup.
The Teint Idole Ultra Care and Glow Foundation ($47; lancome-usa.com) is another great new makeup launch, a serum foundation with a natural looking, dewy finish and SPF 27, with medium coverage. I tried the shade 405W which is a warm, medium with golden undertones. It goes on seamlessly, does not enhance my dry spots and blends effortlessly.. I like to use a dense, smooth brush, but a flat foundation brush works too. I love the shade selection and although 405W is a touch dark for me, it doesn’t oxidize or turn orange. Overall, if you have drier skin, this is a fabulous foundation that helps even out skin tone, feels like a tinted moisturizer, is lightweight and has sun protection with a natural looking glow.
