Amo Ferragamo ($120 for 3.4oz; bloomingdales.com), Salvatore Ferragamo’s newest fragrance is a fabulous Oriental Floral , a sophisticated yet fresh floral with notes of Blackcurrant, Bitter Citruses, Rosemary, Jasmine Sambac, Mate Absolute, Rhubarb, White Vanilla and Sandalwood. I can’t think of a more appropriate fragrance for the spring and summertime than these fresh florals that have a bit of the citruses mixed in. Amo opens up with a lot of the bitterness from the citruses, a tinge of the headiness from the Jasmine and fruity sweetness from Blackberry. As the fragrance dries down, a lot of the creamy, woody sweetness from the Vanilla and Sandalwood come through. The bottle is just gorgeous and looks pretty in pink, yet sophisticated. Overall, an absolutely feminine, crisp, playful scent that isn’t overly sweet and is perfect for the warmer seasons ahead.
