A few new and new to me beauty launches under $15!
Alba Botanica’s Hawaiian Marula Miracle Moisture Shampoo & Conditioner ($8.99 each; Whole Foods Market) is a great duo for dry, frizzy hair. The formula is very nourishing and smells great too. The conditioner is lightweight and pairs really well with the shampoo or any other shampoo for that reason. That said, the shampoo does tend to make my scalp oily after a good few uses, but nothing a good clarifying shampoo can’t fix.

Live Clean Coconut Milk Body Wash ($5.99; amazon.com) is a moisturizing body wash, with a creamy texture and a sweet, coconut scent. It lathers up beautifully and cleanses without stripping. A good budget buy if you are looking for an everyday body wash.
Jason Dry Spray Deodorant ($10.99; Whole Foods Market) is good one to try if you don’t like the regular stick/roll on type versions. Its mildly scented, does the job well without irritation to the skin and doesn’t stain clothes. It does feel dry and almost invisible, so great for the hot and humid weather.
CeraVe Sunscreen Face Lotion SPF30 ($14.99; target.com) is a sheer, lightweight, oil-free sunscreen that I’ve been quite loving this summer. It does go on invisible for the most part, but on my medium skintone I can detect a very light whitish cast which does fade once the product sinks in. There’s no funky scent and the texture is thin and easy to apply too.
Essence is one of my favorite drugstore brands for makeup. Everything is affordable, the color range is great and the products themselves are pretty amazing for the price. The Volume Stylist Curl and Hold and Lash Extension ($4.99 each; ulta.com) are two mascaras I’ m currently loving - the Lash Extension is very volumizing and lengthening, while the Curl and Hold has great separation and length. They are also very pigmented, an almost deep dark black and surprisingly smudge less too. I also love the big fat brush on both these mascaras.
