Three great deep conditioners/hair masks I’m currently loving for my moderately fine, frizzy hair!
Macadamia Professional Weightless Moisture Masque* ($36 ; ulta.com) is a light weight, whipped textured mask that works in just a few seconds. It smells amazing, detangles really well and leaves hair super smooth and shiny. It feels a little heavier than regular conditioner, yet manages to add a lot of moisture back to dry hair and tames frizz really well. Its one to look into if most hair masks tend to weigh your hair down.
Moroccanoil Intense Hydrating Mask* ($29.99 ; fragrancenet.com) is an ultra rich, thick, deep conditioning mask that is nice to work into hair after a clarifying shampoo. It adds a lot of moisture back and I usually skip any kind of oil/serum afterwards. If you have very fine hair though, I wouldn’t recommend this for more than once a week, but it is a fabulous weekly treat and leaves hair smelling fantastic!
Briogeo Don’t Despair, Repair Deep Conditioning Mask ($36; sephora.com) is another lightweight deep conditioning mask that I recently discovered. Its not the best at detangling, but adds lot of softness and bounce to hair. It washes off easily and is great if you don’t like masks that tend to make hair and roots oily in a day or two. If you have very thick hair, this may not quite do the job, but if you have fine to medium thick hair, this is a great one to try!
