The color is quite pigmented and can get a tad patchy on very dry lips when used directly from the tube, so I prefer using it with a lip brush to sheer the color out a little. Worn alone, it tends to wash me out, so I almost, always end up topping it with a gloss. It looks better off when paired with a smokey eye or with a good amount of eyeliner. If you do prefer a brighter pop, be sure to exfoliate lips well just so you can apply directly from the tube! Ravishing has enough color to even out pigmentation, if any and just a teeny tiny hint of shimmer that doesn't show up much on the lips.

The formula being a Cremesheen is extremely comfortable and has a slight sheen to the overall finish. I would recommend using a lip liner though, since it tends to migrate a little after a few minutes. I get about 2-3 hours from the Cremesheens and they don't dry out my lips at all. Overall, Ravishing is a good choice if you are looking for a slightly bright, peachy coral for spring/summer. It is a tad high maintenance and one of those lipsticks that looks good with a flawless base, in my opinion.
Have you tried MAC Ravishing? How do you wear it?
I LOVE THIS ONE! I seriously have soo many lip sticks I need to get and this one is so on my list.
