Italian Rose is a rosy red with a hint of brown. It goes on much lighter than how it looks in the tube, so you don't have to worry about going overboard with this color, unless you have very pale lips. On my lips, it looks like a lighter rosy brown with a touch of pink. It is one of the darker shades in the Creamy Lip Color range and a perfectly effortless shade for medium/dark skin tones. If you have pigmented lips, Italian Rose is a must have shade that will add a little warmth and brighten your face in a subtle, natural way!
Overall, the Bobbi Brown Creamy Lip colors continue to impress me, be it the shade selection or the amazing formula and texture. If you love creamy, rich lipsticks that don't feel very tacky or heavy, these are worth checking out. I love it especially this time of the year when my lips are super dry and I can't be bothered with piling on too many lip products!
Have you tried the Bobbi Brown Creamy Lip Color in Italian Rose?
Very pretty! I really love the shade a lot. It's warm and complimenting.
ReplyDeleteIt is! Such a nice, soft shade for winters :)
DeleteLovely shade and looks great on you! I need something nourishing with good pigment for lips this winter. This sounds perfect :)
ReplyDeleteIt is very nourishing! I won't say its overly pigmented but I'm not a fan of full coverage lipsticks anyways :)
DeleteHi there, my name is Victoria and I just discovered your blog while researching for MAC Cosmo. Could you please tell me what shade are you in MAC foundation? Just wanted to see if the lipsticks that look good on you would look good on me too :-) I am between NC40-NC42. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteHi Autumn,
DeleteI'm around an NC40-42 in summer and around an NC37 in winter, so it should look nice on you! I have very pigmented lips as well..if you don't the color should look a little more vivid on you. Hope that helps!
