Transform Your Lip Color With The Rimmel Lasting Finish Lipstick by Kate Moss Fall 2012 Collection

Rimmel's Lasting Finish lipstick ($5.20) by Kate Moss collection for fall features a few darker, fall appropriate pinks and plums. The collection also features a smokey, shimmery pewter shade that can be worn alone or layered over any of the other lipsticks to transform the color into a deeper, darker shade.

Some of the gorgeous shades from the range are 10 - Warm, creamy red, 06 - Bright Coral, 09 - Intense Pink Berry, 11 - Dark  Berry Red and 15 - Pewter with high shimmer. The concept behind the layering shade is pretty awesome. It works on a variety of shades but the end result is almost, always, a dark, vampy purple. Also since the layering shade has quite a bit of shimmer, there's a gorgeous sheen to the final finish that keeps the color from looking very matte. The Kate Moss Lasting Finish line of lipsticks are pretty moisturizing and smell amazing. They are very creamy and the darker shades last about 4-5 hours on me, leaving behind a natural looking stain!

Overall, the colors themselves are fabulous when worn alone, but if you like darker lips, the color transforming shade is a nice addition. It beautifully transforms even the brightest of corals and pinks effortlessly!
