You know my love for Pacifica in general so, I was quite excited to try out the Island Vanilla($12) Perfume Roll-On. Pacifica lists Island Vanilla under the "Herbs & Spices" category on their website which is apt for how surprisingly different it is. I've tried a lot of Vanilla scents and what sets this one apart are the floral notes that keep it from being too sweet. And neither does it come off as very fake and strong like a lot of pure vanilla scents do. I'm pretty sure it would be perfect when paired with the matching body butter for some long-lasting vanilla goodness.
Overall, if you like a lot of vanilla-based, delicious smelling scents that don't have too much of sweetness in the mix, take a whiff next time you are at a store that carries Pacifica. Even if you don't like vanilla, you may still be surprised at how different it is from a lot of vanilla based scents and you may actually end up liking it! It is something I would love to wear all-year round, particularly during the winter because of how warm and cozy it smells on me.
Have you tried the Pacifica Island Vanilla Perfume Roll-On?

Such beautiful photos in this post! I've always seen Pacifica products in Sephora and wanted to make a purchase, but my ridiculous stash of body sprays and such at home is holding me back! Maybe I'll have to go give this a whiff after I finish a few products up ;)
ReplyDeleteThank you! If you get a chance to, try the Blood Orange scent. It is one of my favorites :)
DeleteHow long did the scent last? I love a good vanilla scent <3
ReplyDeleteThis is such a cozy vanilla scent! It lasted about 3-4 hours on me but I'm guessing it will linger around longer with the matching Body Butter :)
